As much as people hate to give him his props, i must give a hand up to Lil Wayne. He has been in the game for a while now, one of the first rappers in a long time to have an album i can listen to from start to finish, not to mention his stage shows, he is definitely an entertainer. My First Venture as a Promoter!

OK....SO me and a friend have decide to begin an entertainment group, and if you are one of my ride or die readers, then you know this. We have come up with the name La Bella Mafia entertainment. we consist of three people so far, but im sure that will change soon! We've already had our let doens, problems and naysayers...ugh! very rollercoater like.. Anyhow we have everything set for our first Party for the most Part. Why?

Ok we all go through something and need to cry, but i think to cry in front of people takes away your value as a man, i think it also emasculates a man as well. Crying is something that if you need to share, you do it with people who care for you. not on a webcam for the world to see.....whatever his reasoning was..he should have re thought that one through. Lastly the people who were with him, really can't care for him as he might think, because they shouldn't have allowed this. anyway...here is the vid:

“Kelis gave birth to Knight Jones last night on July 22nd around 9PM. Weighing a healthy 7.8lbs, the beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful. This was a natural birth and Kelis had been in labor since early Monday morning around 2AM. Knight was delivered in a NYC hospital with her mother and sister in the room."

Did She deserve This Treatment?

I personally cannot agree with the things she has done in her past, but i have no right to judge her. And for the most part neither should the media, but we all know how that goes. Watch the video and tell me what you think about how they treated her. Do you think it was warranted? Or do you think they should have been more professional?

Nas & Kelis Welcome a Baby Boy!

Kelis went into labor this morning to deliver a baby boy, while Nas was not in attendance, for whatever reason, i am sure he wanted to be. Today would have been the court date for their divorce heariing, but Baby said No! lol. I would take it as a sign, personally(giggles). Anywho, i have yet to find out the name of said baby, but I'm sure i will soon, and will definitely let you know. I know the pic is a little old, but i rather focus on their happier times, and i also hope they proceed with care and not greed.

When Was The Last Time You Read?

I read this book a few years ago, and i found it quite befitting for the area i was living in, lol. Anywho...This book is about a young Girl named Laci, who let her yearning to fit in, overcome her. The girls she thought were her friends may not be, and she might end up in a bad situation. Check this book out. Its one of my favorite books, i read it in one day. it also has a newly released sequel, so be sure to check them out. i give it a 0 out of 10 and the sequel a 7.

Female Rap Saviour?

So… I’ve had many debates on twitter about female rappers and their role in the game right now. I’ve seen many attempts on worldstarhipjop.com, but all of them seem like carbon copies of one another. I think Nicki Minaj stands out because her punch lines are hot and her deliver is much better. Most women that I’ve heard or saw rap as if their reciting words of a paper, and of course their all half naked and in lingerie. Sex Sell…**shrugs** but must they all take that approach? Hmmm…leave much more to be desired in the rap game right now, no variety anymore. Lil Kim is definitely one of the best who ever done it, but her time has passed, most say Nicki is her successor…seem as though they are correct, but we will have to wait for the album. Her Mixtape: “Beam Me Up Scotty” had quite a few great song on it, one of them being the title track, as well as “Keys Under Palm Tree’s” and her freestyle to Soulja Boys beat “itty Bitty Piggy”. What’s is your opinion on the state of females rappers?

Are You a Sucker?

Are they with you for the right reason, or are you with them for the right reason? At some point in all relationship you have to weigh the pro’s and con’s and figure out if you genuinely want this person, or if it’s for personal gain. Do you buy your loved ones? Are you comfortable with being alone? What are you will to do to keep them around? Is what you are willing to do for them, mutual? Will they do the same for you? All these question should be asked waaaaaay before many people decide that they have met their soul mates. You thinking long term so you don’t mind giving them money or letting them stay with you and things like that, when to them you just a transition. Ladies quit thinking that having his baby is going to keep him, even the crack heads in the hood know better than that. Quit it Hoes… cause at the end of the day you’ll still be alone except with whatever he left you with, whether it be debt, a baby, hell even an STD…who knows. Anyway learn what its like to be happy alone and know that you don’t have to buy love, or lt them use you because you love them. But you live and learn. Have you ever been in or watched this go down?
