Carbon Copys

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" the old adage goes. How much, is too much? Lately Ive been seeing so much cloning that it becomes so rare to originality. Where is the individuality? ways to express that you are not the same as the next person? Many people say that a person should be happy someone admires them enough to want to do the same things, but after so much it becomes annoy and eventually you and that person are so much alike that you lose your own identity against your will. when is enough enough, and how can you get the carbon copy to grasp their own identity? Do you have to alienate yourself? do you have to hurt their feelings? whats the best way to let a person know that they are taking things to far? How can you keep your "identity" sacred? 2010 is the year of the body snatcher's and we have to bring it to a halt! but how? For example, the picture above is of Amber Rose, while she is a (excuse my language) Bad Bitch in her own right, why does she feel the need to imitate Grace Jones, over and over and over? We have people around us, who are great people in their own right, yet they find it necessary to Copy? why is that? whats your thoughts?
Tyler's Thoughts:
☥Where has originality gone? Seems to me like everyone has lost their own uniqueness whether it be hair, style of dress, personality, or taste in the opposite sex. It’s like you wake up in the morning and say to yourself I want to be EXACTLY like so and so. No one likes to have a carbon copy of themselves...at least I don’t; someone that does exactly the same things as you or want the same things you do. It’s nothing wrong with having someone look up to you and take from your creativeness but to do it all the time and without consent is a tad bit annoying. Personally, I have had friends that felt the need to do everything I did or felt the need to COMPETE with me for men, clothes, or other frivolous things. To be you is the hardest thing ever and to be someone else is so easy, so I guess that’s why people do it. But let me be the first to tell you from experience, it won’t get you far. Strive to find your own uniqueness and quit taking away from other people creativeness. “You’re only jealous when you ain’t dope…my suggestion? BE DOPE.” – Rev. Run. ☥
