UUUgH! I just feel like venting, but not to my book….not to twitter…so I guess I’ll put it in my blog!
Faceboook is a site I frequent, especially when I’m bored…which has been a lot lately. Facebook has been making me feel a little depressed lately. Seeing all the people in relationships and or married and have kids….they’ve found their happily ever after.
My Heart and my head are at war because I don’t really want that right now, but my heart wants it so bad I can taste it, I can imagine it in my head. I can feel it on my skin; I see it in my dreams. I cannot identify with whom, where or when. *shrugs*
I think that part of me surfaces when I don’t have numerous people I talk to which, I wish I had again. I haven’t been out or have I met many new people in a while. So I still clinging to the few I do deal with. Something tells me this is not healthy, because the ones I deal with I should probably let go, for whatever reason. All I know is I feel like I have the ass end of each of them. Which depresses me even more.
I can’t wait until the fall. I want to be so enthralled in school that no one exists and/or I have no time for them. Maybe then this feeling will go away? *shrugs*

So The Nation Gossiper...oops i Mean Enquirer, is doing just that! Enquiring that Barack Obama had been having an Affair with a former Campaign Aide. I don't believe anything until i see it, but the say there is a surveillance video from a hotel with proof. but until it surfaces i will remain indifferent. Here the story:

A confidential investigation has learned that Obama first became close to gorgeous 35 year-old VERA BAKER in 2004 when she worked tirelessly to get him elected to the US Senate, raising millions in campaign contributions.

While Baker has insisted in the past that "nothing happened" between them, the ENQUIRER has learned that top anti-Obama operatives are offering more than $1 million to witnesses to reveal what they know about the alleged hush-hush affair.

Among those being offered money is a limo driver who says that he took Vera to a secret hotel rendezvous where the President was staying.

On the condition of anonymity, the limo driver said he took Baker "from a friend's home in the DC area to the Hotel George where I learned later that Obama would be spending the night."

The driver recalled that he "waited in the lobby while she went to change her outfit.

"But to the best of knowledge she did not have a room at the hotel and she was not staying there so I thought that it was a bit odd."

The driver said he then picked up Obama at the airport and drove both he and Baker to various locations while he was campaigning for funds. Vera accompanied him to each meeting.

"About 10:30 PM, I drove them to the hotel and they went in together!"

"My services for the evening were done - and there was no indication she was going to leave the hotel that night."

A top DC source told The ENQUIRER exclusively that the driver's account had been independently corroborated by investigators who believe the couple spent the night together at the hotel.

The ENQUIRER has also learned that on-site hotel surveillance video camera footage could provide indisputable evidence.

"Investigators are attempting to obtain a tape from the hotel (that) shows Vera and Barack together," the DC insider confided.

"If the tape surfaces, it will explode the scandal."

COST: $940 billion over 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
HOW MANY COVERED: 32 million uninsured. Major coverage expansion begins in 2014. When fully phased in, 95 percent of eligible Americans would have coverage, compared with 83 percent today.
INSURANCE MANDATE: Almost everyone is required to be insured or else pay a fine. There is an exemption for low-income people. Mandate takes effect in 2014.
INSURANCE MARKET REFORMS: Starting this year, insurers would be forbidden from placing lifetime dollar limits on policies, from denying coverage to children because of pre-existing conditions, and from canceling policies because someone gets sick. Parents would be able to keep older kids on their coverage up to age 26. A new high-risk pool would offer coverage to uninsured people with medical problems until 2014, when the coverage expansion goes into high gear. Major consumer safeguards would also take effect in 2014. Insurers would be prohibited from denying coverage to people with medical problems or charging them more. Insurers could not charge women more.
MEDICAID: Expands the federal-state Medicaid insurance program for the poor to cover people with incomes up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level, $29,327 a year for a family of four. Childless adults would be covered for the first time, starting in 2014. The federal government would pay 100 percent of costs for covering newly eligible individuals through 2016. A special deal that would have given Nebraska 100 percent federal financing for newly eligible Medicaid recipients in perpetuity is eliminated. A different, one-time deal negotiated by Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu for her state, Louisiana, worth as much as $300 million, remains.
TAXES: Dramatically scales back a Senate-passed tax on high-cost insurance plans that was opposed by House Democrats and labor unions. The tax would be delayed until 2018, and the thresholds at which it is imposed would be $10,200 for individuals and $27,500 for families. To make up for the lost revenue, the bill applies an increased Medicare payroll tax to the investment income and to the wages of individuals making more than $200,000, or married couples above $250,000. The tax on investment income would be 3.8 percent.
PRESCRIPTION DRUGS: Gradually closes the “doughnut hole” coverage gap in the Medicare prescription drug benefit that seniors fall into once they have spent $2,830. Seniors who hit the gap this year will receive a $250 rebate. Beginning in 2011, seniors in the gap receive a discount on brand name drugs, initially 50 percent off. When the gap is completely eliminated in 2020, seniors will still be responsible for 25 percent of the cost of their medications until Medicare’s catastrophic coverage kicks in.
EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY: As in the Senate bill, businesses are not required to offer coverage. Instead, employers are hit with a fee if the government subsidizes their workers’ coverage. The $2,000-per-employee fee would be assessed on the company’s entire work force, minus an allowance. Companies with 50 or fewer workers are exempt from the requirement. Part-time workers are included in the calculations, counting two part-timers as one full-time worker.
SUBSIDIES: The proposal provides more generous tax credits for purchasing insurance than the original Senate bill did. The aid is available on a sliding scale for households making up to four times the federal poverty level, $88,200 for a family of four. Premiums for a family of four making $44,000 would be capped at around 6 percent of income.
HOW YOU CHOOSE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE: Small businesses, the self-employed and the uninsured could pick a plan offered through new state-based purchasing pools called exchanges, opening for business in 2014. The exchanges would offer the same kind of purchasing power that employees of big companies benefit from. People working for medium-to-large firms would not see major changes. But if they lose their jobs or strike out on their own, they may be eligible for subsidized coverage through the exchange.
GOVERNMENT-RUN PLAN: No government-run insurance plan. People purchasing coverage through the new insurance exchanges would have the option of signing up for national plans overseen by the federal office that manages the health plans available to members of Congress. Those plans would be private, but one would have to be nonprofit.
ABORTION: The proposal keeps the abortion provision in the Senate bill. Abortion opponents disagree on whether restrictions on taxpayer funding go far enough. The bill tries to maintain a strict separation between taxpayer dollars and private premiums that would pay for abortion coverage. No health plan would be required to offer coverage for abortion. In plans that do cover abortion, policyholders would have to pay for it separately, and that money would have to be kept in a separate account from taxpayer money. States could ban abortion coverage in plans offered through the exchange. Exceptions would be made for cases of rape, incest and danger to the life of the mother.
GOP HEALTH CARE SUMMIT IDEAS: Following a bipartisan health care summit last month, Obama announced he was open to incorporating several Republican ideas into his legislation. But two of the principle ones – hiring investigators to pose as patients and search for fraud at hospitals and increasing spending for medical malpractice reform initiatives – did not make it into the legislation released Thursday. The legislation incorporates only one, an increase in payments to primary care physicians under Medicaid, an idea mentioned by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa.
This bill will be a good thing for people that are uninsured and take chances on whether or not to go to the doctor for that cough that could be a cold or it could be some serious problem with their lungs. Also for children that have pre-existing conditions that are denied health insurance or people that end up being dropped from their health insurance because they got sick will have a chance to get the help they need.
We know that this health care bill is going to raise taxes and we are not agreeing with everything in it. However, if we are a country that supposedly stands together… What else can we do to stop the insurance companies from deciding whether our life is worth saving… Just because a person gets sick or it’s something that has to do with genetics or a person works part-time so they can’t find affordable health insurance and they make to much to get Medicad?????

Ive seen this Ad in several different instance on several different blogs. Apparently its in my city in the downtown area of Newark, NJ. Seeing this ad in passing i know I'm a gutter brain, but even the simplest of minds would automatically think: She just started or just finished doing Oral on this man.*shrugs* I do know That Cory Booker is not happy about this billboard just blocks away from his office..hell city hall in general.

The Statement Released by AKOO which is a clothing company owned by Rapper TI:
“The AKOO brand has always aimed to inspire individualism and creativity. Our advertising campaign was not created to offend or insult anyone but to simply provoke dialogue and thought regarding male/female sexuality within urban culture. We hope that as more of the campaign is debuted, people will see the multifaceted personality of AKOO.”

While i understand what they were trying to do, but did this publicity really bring the attention to the clothing like or just to the billboard, i wonder if this helped them sell anymore than they already were...just curious! anyway...what do you think?

I was having a debate with someone over how many women a man should talk to at one time, and i feel like its his prerogative to talk to as many women as feel. And the person retaliated with "you wouldn't like it done to you". While this is true who am i to be upset over who a man talks to if he is not in a relationship? why would i be the only? the point of being single to play the Field for who may be right for you, or to just simply fill your time with as many people as you choose.

After that, the rebuttal was that at a point i was upset at a certain person when i found out that i hadn't been the only person. While this is true, it doesn't mean that i don't recognize where i had went wrong.

I can not recall a time in my "single life" when I haven't talked to more than one person at a time, not matter what phase of the relationship, because i never wanna be stuck alone should one go awry.

Sometimes I get so caught up into myself that i become oblivious to the fact that the same people i talk to, may have other people they talk to. In my mind I think I'm a perfect catch, why would anyone want another? there is no need right? ..Wrong...she may do for him what i will not at that time, she may be a totally different type of woman, one may never know. A little dose of reality hurt my little feelings, but that's life, I'm over it...it did taint the image of that person, for lack of better word but not because he talks to another, or others,but the situation just gave me a realization. *shrugs*

Now a whole different situation is if he tells you, you are the only and you are one of many. There is no need to lie, a person either has to deal with it, or move on. I may not always be bold, or whatever the case may be, but if I'm asked a question i am truthful, because 1. I am a horrible liar, & 2. I don't want to lie to a "potential" and we begin our relationship, built on lies.

Lately, i have been seeing a lot of flip flopping going on in the Gay/Lesbian community. I understand that there are people who are "Bi-Sexual" and for some this is actually sexually appealing.

Is it fair for the people who don't know, or does that make you a little on the down low. If a man Has dated men for years, and no women, then one day he meets a woman he decides he wants to try to be "straight" with. Is that OK for him to do so, and worst is it OK for him not to tell her about his past with other men? Do you think its possible to even be with this woman wholeheartedly?

Are Women just being bisexual out of the curiosity that lies within us all? or are they doing it to impress the men that feel bisexuality is sexy? Is it possible for this girl to have honest wholehearted relationship with a woman? should these people just let people know from jump that curiosity killed the cat, and this may not go beyond sex, so enjoy it while it last?

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" the old adage goes. How much, is too much? Lately Ive been seeing so much cloning that it becomes so rare to originality. Where is the individuality? ways to express that you are not the same as the next person? Many people say that a person should be happy someone admires them enough to want to do the same things, but after so much it becomes annoy and eventually you and that person are so much alike that you lose your own identity against your will. when is enough enough, and how can you get the carbon copy to grasp their own identity? Do you have to alienate yourself? do you have to hurt their feelings? whats the best way to let a person know that they are taking things to far? How can you keep your "identity" sacred? 2010 is the year of the body snatcher's and we have to bring it to a halt! but how? For example, the picture above is of Amber Rose, while she is a (excuse my language) Bad Bitch in her own right, why does she feel the need to imitate Grace Jones, over and over and over? We have people around us, who are great people in their own right, yet they find it necessary to Copy? why is that? whats your thoughts?

As Black History month comes To a close, i feel like we have lost sight of what made us great! I also feel like many of us do not contribute to the continuation of "Black History'! I Believe that many of us have sat back and feel accomplished because we have a "Black president". While that is a great achievement we must continue to strive for better! Instead of teaching the next generation how to curse better and be promiscuous we need to get in touch with our roots! Here are some little know facts that we could teach as opposed to learning the newest Lil Wayne song! if Women imitated Rosa Parks, or Coretta Scott-King instead of Nicki Minaj...We would all have a better future!

Wiz Khalifa - Deal or No Deal

I introduce to some, Reintroduce to the Musically inclined Wiz Khalifa(Wiz short for wisdom and Khalifa is Arabic for "Successor")! Deal or NO Deal is the 2nd studio album from Wiz and was released this year on the 24th of November.The first week Deal or No Deal reach Top 10 on iTunes charts overall albums list, as well as number 1 in hip hop charts. Ive been a Fan of Wiz Khalifa For a little while now, i fell in Love with "Say Yeah", "Be Easy", "B.A.R.(Burn after Rolling) and "Make it Hot", Since then I've been a fan! It surely doesn't hurt that i think hes handsome! lol..

Anyway...on to what i think about Deal or No Deal... Overall i love the album, i like the Majority of the project but it might be a while before i can listen to it start to finish! This album is pretty eclectic and his style is not like that of any mainstream rappers, which is refreshing! The First single off the Album is "This Plane" produced by Johnny Juliano...this is one of my favorite songs on the albums, the type of song i think should have been the first song on the LP because it sets the tone. My favorite song would have to be "Studio Lovin'" also produced by Johnny Juliano, it seems to be the Ballad of the Album..and Ive had it in every playlist since i head it. "Take Away" is also one of the standouts of the Album...with lines like "I'm relevant but nothing like you other rapper's" & "The Game gives me a Felling that no one can Take away from me" you kinda get a feel for him as a person with every song! i would recommend this fro any hip hop lover..id give it an 8.5 out of 10! what do you think of it?

I read this book Many times since its publishing. i think this is one of the best books i've ever read. When i heard it would be turned into a movie...I was past Elasted. Even more so learning the cast. they include Monique, Mariah Carey Paula Patton and a few others i am not as familiar with. It has been getting Rave reviews at the Sundance film festival and there has even been talks of oscar nominations for Monique. Monique plas the Mothe of the Main charachter Precious. If you were thinking of purchasing the Latest Book From Karrine Steffans, and taking it seriously...you might wanna watch this first, and determine for yourself. I don't know if she is really crazy, or if she was advised to do these things, but this type of manipulation is not orthodox. I feel deceived in a way, if the book is about finding, seducing and keeping the man you want, how am i to go by what is being taught from a teacher who knows no such rewards? as i said when she had done the initial interview about the book, when she stated she had two children and a husband, i am assuming she doesn't have an extra child either. If so then who is the father..ugh! Too many questions not enough answers. The only way i will entertain the book is to get a good laugh, see some nudie pis, and has to be borrow . Kelis went into labor this morning to deliver a baby boy, while Nas was not in attendance, for whatever reason, i am sure he wanted to be. Today would have been the court date for their divorce heariing, but Baby said No! lol. I would take it as a sign, personally(giggles). Anywho, i have yet to find out the name of said baby, but I'm sure i will soon, and will definitely let you know. I know the pic is a little old, but i rather focus on their happier times, and i also hope they proceed with care and not greed.

I read this book a few years ago, and i found it quite befitting for the area i was living in, lol. Anywho...This book is about a young Girl named Laci, who let her yearning to fit in, overcome her. The girls she thought were her friends may not be, and she might end up in a bad situation. Check this book out. Its one of my favorite books, i read it in one day. it also has a newly released sequel, so be sure to check them out. i give it a 0 out of 10 and the sequel a 7.

So… I’ve had many debates on twitter about female rappers and their role in the game right now. I’ve seen many attempts on worldstarhipjop.com, but all of them seem like carbon copies of one another. I think Nicki Minaj stands out because her punch lines are hot and her deliver is much better. Most women that I’ve heard or saw rap as if their reciting words of a paper, and of course their all half naked and in lingerie. Sex Sell…**shrugs** but must they all take that approach? Hmmm…leave much more to be desired in the rap game right now, no variety anymore. Lil Kim is definitely one of the best who ever done it, but her time has passed, most say Nicki is her successor…seem as though they are correct, but we will have to wait for the album. Her Mixtape: “Beam Me Up Scotty” had quite a few great song on it, one of them being the title track, as well as “Keys Under Palm Tree’s” and her freestyle to Soulja Boys beat “itty Bitty Piggy”.
